Cancellations are eligible for a full refund if made at least 14 days in advance of scheduled booking date. Within 2 to 14 days of the scheduled booking date, re-scheduling may occur 1 time with no penalty (subject to availability), and late cancellations are subject to a 25% cancellation fee. No refunds or schedule changes allowed within 48 hours of the scheduled booking date. This includes no-shows, late arrivals and any reduction in booking party size. If you are late for your scheduled time it will reduce the time of that activity but we will do our best to accommodate you which may result in placing you in a time slot later in the day (subject to availability). Please note if we cancel any bookings due to weather, unsafe conditions, mechanical failure, you will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund. Youth Group Rates

Please remind youths to wear proper shoes, no flip flops or sandals.

The activities (exception: water activities) are supervised and guided by our staff but require the assistance from teachers / leaders / chaperones.

  • Youth Group and School Field Trip Rates: Summer Adventures
  • Must have a minimum of 10 participants
  • Ages 8-18
  • All participants must sign a waiver. Ages 18 and under must have a parent sign their waiver. Youths without a signed form will not be allowed to participate in any activity. Please submit signed waivers on field trip day.

To book a field trip:

We require the following information:

  • Credit card number (no deposit required)
  • Name of school/group, phone number, grade or age group
  • Date(s), arrival and departure time
  • Number of participants
  • Activities selected
  • BBQ rental (pre-book)
  • Lunch Packages (pre-book)

If the number of participants, changes by 5 or more, please give advanced notice. You are welcome to provide an itinerary at least two weeks prior to your field trip. We will let you know if it works with our schedule or we can provide an itinerary for your group. Payment can be made on the day of your field trip or we can provide an invoice (to be paid within 10 days). We accept, Visa, MasterCard, debit, cash and cheque.

Summer Adventures (May 1 – October 31)

Archery **New**

Find out how much of marksman you are! Develop your archery skills using one of our recurve bows. Can you hit the bullseye??

Archery at Blue Mountain

Zip Lining (1 ride)

Come out and try any of our four zip lines that descend the hill side and over the tree tops of the valley below at speeds over 50 km per hour.

Choose from three different riding positions:

  • Granny: a standard sitting position
  • Superman: really feels like your flying
  • Batman: hanging upside down.

Note: Weather may be a factor in which rides are available.

Wall Climbing

Enjoy climbing our 30-foot-high climbing wall situated on the top of one of the hills overlooking the valley below. There are 16 paths to the top of the wall with varying degrees of difficulty.

Highropes

The High Ropes Course consists of five high course elements built thirty-five to forty feet above ground. High course elements push participants to go beyond their perceived limits. Participants are challenged to expand their comfort zone, build self-confidence, and overcome self-imposed barriers, while being motivated and encouraged by other group members.

Challenge Course / Obstacle Course

The Course is designed to encourage groups to work together to overcome a series of fun and challenging obstacles and exercises. There are ten team building activity stations.

Do you have what it takes? Test your agility and push yourself physically through a series of challenging obstacles.

Water Activities

Enjoy the peaceful surroundings on our small lake while paddling from a canoe, kayak, paddle board and paddle boat.

Please note: At the lake, we provide a canoe instructor, life jackets, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boat and paddles. Supervision and lifeguards are not provided.

Canoe at Blue Mountain

Interpretive Hike

It is a hike designed for both exercise and educational attainment. It provides participants with a better knowledge of ecology and other various features of the thickwood hills. Your guide will explain the flora and wildlife you may come across during your hike.

Cost for each of the listed activities:

  • $12 / activity / youth (tax not included)
  • For every 10 youths, one adult is free. The remainder pay the youth rate.

Experience the rush of a zip Line tour, fly across the beautiful valley from hill top to hill top enjoying the amazing view!

It is a two hour course that teaches safety and survival skills along with an interactive fire starting class with prizes to be won!

Winter Adventures

Blue Mountain Adventure Park offers over 30 km of perfectly groomed trails for snow shoeing, classic/skate skiing, skating and sledding on the beautiful hills!

  • 3 DAY PARK FEE $10/youth

Activities include cross country skiing, tobogganing, skating and snowshoeing. Groups are required to bring their own equipment.

BASIC WILDERNESS SKILLS COURSE $50/group.

Cabin and Chalet Policies:

Please go over with students prior to your trip.

  • Help us keep our chalet and cabins cozy.
  • Our facilities are kept clean and tastefully decorated.
  • Enjoy our decorations for your viewing pleasure only.
  • Remove all outside footwear (bring slippers or indoor footwear).
  • Enjoy your meals and snacks at the table, no food in the living room or bedrooms.
  • There are movies available for your enjoyment, please keep movies in good condition for others to enjoy, place movies back in its case when you are done viewing.
  • The kitchens are fully stocked, if there is something you need please do not hesitate to ask our staff. Accidents happen, should something break, please let us know so we can replace it.
  • Please ensure all dishes, utensils, pots and pans are washed and put away upon check out.
  • The accommodation is clean when you arrive, please leave it in the same condition.
  • Sweep, mop or vacuum floors.
  • Wipe down counters.
  • Remove garbage and place in large garbage bins located in the parking lot.
